MESA COMMUNITY COLLEGE



ART DEPARTMENT



TITLE: Temporary Position/Art Department

Hourly Wage: $10.50 (Based on Experience)

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am -5:00pm

Flexible Schedule: 40 Hours/Week

Assists faculty and students by installing, maintaining, and
providing hardware and software support in a Macintosh computer
laboratory setting. Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs computer
equipment and if necessary arranges for repair and replacement of
equipment; provides backup of software; requests and maintains
supplies; updates software as needed; performs related duties as
assigned.

Knowledge or experience with:
· Macintosh computer hardware and operating system, software
installation and updates
· Inkjet printer setup, operation and color calibration
· Server technology
· Ability to communicate effectively with outside vendors.
· Ability to maintain and repair computer equipment
· Maintain accurate records
· Communicate effectively orally and in writing
· Establish cooperative working relationships with persons
contacted in the course of performing assigned duties
· Trouble shoot and correct software, hardware and operating
system problems.



May be required to lift up to 50-lb. objects.
