Subject: Lumension Security/ formerly PatchLink in Scottsdale- Inside Regional Sales Manager Opportunity



Specific job responsibilities include:

1. Successfully complete Lumension Sales Training program
2. Work closely with Inside Territory Manager (ITM) and Sales Engineer
in assigned territory in order to drive sales via direct, channel, and
OEM partners to meet team quarterly and annual revenue goals.
3. Develop lead management strategy with ITM in order to engage Channel
Partners early in sales cycle and ultimately develop Solution Sales
channel partners in your territory.
4. Profile each channel partners in your territory and know if the
expectation of each as defined by a fulfillment partner, lead gen
partner, or solution sales partner.
5. Generate sales leads through various sources such as industry lists,
Internet, cold calls, etc.
6. Set up and perform online presentations in order to demonstrate the
value proposition of Lumension solutions.
7. Set up and perform onsite visits at the following:
a. Prospects to drive new business
b. Channel Partners to perform sales training and gain mindshare
c. Current customers to verify customer satisfaction, solidify renewals,
ask for referrals, and drive any upsell opportunities with current and
future Lumension products.
8. Coordinate Proof of Concepts in order to demonstrate the value
proposition of Lumension solutions.
9. Track and close renewal business in assigned territory.
10. Support prospects and customers on an on-going basis
11. Develop strategy for upselling to increase breadth and depth of
Lumension solutions sales in current customers.
12. Follow milestone sales process in order to close new, upsell and
renewal business:
13. Forecast, enter orders and schedule activities accurately utilizing
CRM
14. Manage contract process with Legal dept. in order to drive revenue.
15. Report weekly sales results and forecasting
16. Engage enterprise accounts on various levels with a goal of signing
Master Licensing Agreements and maximizing the revenue opportunity.



This position requires:
1. A BA/BS in business administration / technology.
2. Excellent internet and communication skills.
3. Background in selling software (preferably security solutions)
4. Have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
within software/internet field.
5. Ideally has good oral / phone and written skills and a "Hunter"
mentality constantly seeking to add value, develop sales
skills/knowledge and drive additional revenue.
