DESCRIPTION: Well funded, web-based startup company located in the
Scottsdale/Phoenix area, is looking for a superstar to join their
team as their new Director of Online Advertising Sales. They have
become the fastest growing healthcare information and social
networking destinations for women, and will be the premier online
destination for brands looking to reach this prime demographic. As
the Director of Online Sales, you will support its online advertising
team, maximize revenue, and enhance client relationships with their
growing portfolio of blue chip brands.

You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and aggressive growth
company. This is a chance to combine your knowledge and interest in
the healthcare industry with online advertising to close major
deals.

This position will be responsible for lead generation, sales
presentations, closing advertising/network deals, as well as
sponsorship deals and providing advertising analytics. Most
important will be your activities to maintain accounts for long-term
retention and acquiring editorial content from advertisers.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

· Spearheading new pitch and proposal development for specific
clients and developing comprehensive RFP responses.
· Developing and presenting relevant sales collateral and
proposed media plans for clients and agencies.
· Working with sales team and clients to build relationships
and increase selling opportunities.
· Applying quantitative and analytical skills to make
recommendations regarding methods to optimize revenues and overall
deal performance for CMI and partners.
· Serving as the key point of contact for post sale
implementation and account management to assure client needs are
being met.
· Hiring and managing additional sales and business development
individuals as necessary to build out a successful organization.
· Conducting competitive and industry research, and
communicating proposals on new account development and sales product
development to sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum of 3+ years of online advertising sales experience
for a consumer facing, ad supported content website, online
publication, or digital ad agency.
· Exceptional leader with 5+ years of advertising sales
experience and 3+ years of management experience ideal.
· Healthcare or medical industry experience or interest
preferred.
· Prior marketing experience targeting women's / mom's
marketing demographic or consumer audience a plus.
· Possess creative and strategic vision to shape win/win sales
proposals for both established and prospective clients.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Analytical with solid quantitative and forecasting skills.
· Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to
detail.
· Strong relationship management skills.
· Education - 4-year degree strongly preferred, in Marketing or
Business Management ideally. MBA a plus.
