We currently have an opening for an IT Production Support Manager at our Tempe, 
AZ location.  This individual will manage the IT Operations Department, which 
includes IT Help Desk, Data Processing and Print Operations.  The Manager will 
provide strategic management and hands-on leadership in order to meet 
operational and company objectives in the following areas:  Day-to-day tier 1 
production support of large, client-server and web-based business systems; 
Manage and lead a team of data processing analysts in promotion design, data 
entry screen setup and data quality; Oversee all aspects of a high-volume check 
and gift card carrier print production department; Interfaces with internal 
operations managers and account management groups, as well as directs staff of 
production specialists. The successful candidate must have the ability to 
analyze problems, perform root-cause analysis, and identify resolutions for 
complex technical problems.  Must be experienced in prioritizing,
 delegating and monitoring multiple activities and projects, as well as perform 
functions critical to the success of the IT Infrastructure Operations group – 
production support, change management, monitoring, reporting and documentation. 
 
To qualify, you will need: 
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or Business 
Minimum 5 years experience working in an IT oriented role 
Minimum 2 years experience directly managing people 
Strong understanding of business processes and software application design 
Proficient in SQL skills 
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple and changing priorities 
Ability to evaluate functional and technical systems issues, perform root-cause 
analysis, determine optimum solution and time required for resolution, conduct 
hand-off to programming staff, and manage delivery of final solution 
Define, develop and establish production support procedures, quality control 
and productivity tools to enable and enhance business operations 
Ability to analyze and explain information management issues/opportunities to 
business partners in clear, non-technical terms, both written and verbally
