Junior level PHP, MySQL, HTML and JavaScript developer

Responsive Data, LLC. is an industry leader in lead and referral generation.
Currently Responsive Data has a 6 month contract position available for a
Jr. level web developer with PHP, MySQL, HTML and JavaScript skills.

The candidate will begin work at Responsive Data by addressing bug fix and
small feature request tickets using our in house trouble ticket system.
These "tickets" require the candidate to replicate the described issue in a
development environment.
Doing so will give the candidate an opportunity to become knowledgeable
about how the Responsive Data transactions, and system work.

The candidate will communicate to supervisor where and exactly how the
ticket description is replicated.
At that point manager will either assign candidate to effect the necessary
changes, if they want the opportunity; or the ticket will be assigned to a
senior staff developer.

As the candidate gains confidence and shows ability, they will be assigned
more complex tickets.
The candidate will be required to perform complete testing of all issue
resolutions, feature enhancements and provide additional support for testing
applications developed by senior staff.

The candidate should expect most of their time and efforts to be involved in
the following:
Debugging and Ticket Issue Replication
PHP code changes based upon management specification.
MySQL statement changes based upon management specification.
Testing issue resolution, new features and other projects being developed by
senior staff.
Proof-reading technical references and documentation produced by senior
staff.

The candidate needs to understand there is very little documentation.
The candidate needs to possess the ability to read raw PHP, MySQL, HTML,
JavaScript, CSS in order to trace, locate, isolate and repair.
The candidate will use Ultra-Edit for coding, mySQLYog for control level
database access, and various internet browsers for testing.

The candidate needs to have the discipline to work unmonitored, record their
own progress, communicate clearly and effectively.
While Responsive Data, LLC has a business casual dress code, candidate needs
to be prompt, punctual and professional in their demeanor.

Responsive Data is located in northeast Mesa, AZ at Power & McDowell Rd.
This position is for a local candidates only.
Individuals willing to relocate need not apply.
This is a 6 month onsite contract position.
Remote office and project based developers need not apply.
Hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday with no overtime expected.
Candidate must be able to start immediately upon hiring.

This position is open for Jr. level developers with 1 to 2 years experience
coding with PHP and MySQL.
Additional knowledge of DHTML, CSS and JavaScript is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $35,000-$40,000/year (DOE).
