IT administrator/Manager Required!

Micro Symplex, Inc. is looking to hire a "well rounded", full time 
Network Administrator/Systems Consultant to head up the department, 
and to service and provide customer support via phone, remote control 
tools and onsite field visits for our clients. The individual MUST be 
reliable and devoted to providing client satisfaction.

Extensive and proven HANDS-ON experience working with customers on-
site is MANDATORY.

In this key role you will need to be:

?       Detail oriented and able to convey ideas to both internal 
clients (your fellow employees) and external clients
?       Excellent interpersonal skills, communications and overall 
dependability are ESSENTIAL
?       Self Motivated, so much so, that you are an example to others
?       Technical expertise is important, but the ability to be 
successful in meeting the customer's needs and expectations is 
CRITICAL
?       Required to keep track of your time, for billable purposes to 
customers and good documentation


You would be involved in the following:

?       Help with the managing of the day-to-day administration of 
the company network and collocation sites, resolving any technical 
issues relating to that network
?       Provide technical and software support to end-users
?       Define, design and implement network communications and 
solutions for a variety of clients
?       Propose and implement system enhancements (software and 
hardware)
?       Install, maintain and upgrade computer workstations and 
software
?       Hiring additional experienced individuals who are devoted to 
client satisfaction
?       Share responsibility of being available after hours and 
weekends for network emergencies related to our clients' sites. 
Rarely called, but need to be available.

Experienced in a "well-rounded" variety of technologies:

* Windows 9x/2000/2003/XP Servers and Workstations
* Variety of Backup, Anti-Virus Products
* Variety of Database Servers (MS SQL, mySQL, Oracle, etc.)
* Security, group policies and Active Directory
* IIS, Exchange, SQL, Terminal Services, Citrix, MS Office products
* Computer hardware diagnostics
* Knowledge of data and telco circuit provisioning
* Network services and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, etc.)
* Printer setup and administration
* Variety of switches, routers and firewalls
* VPN remote access with Windows PPTP, Sonic Wall, Netscreen RemoteT, 
Cisco VPN clients, etc.
