Title: Test Support Specialist 

Start Date: Immediately 

Duration: 1 year (possibly perm)

Location: Downtown Phoenix (close to ballpark)

Rate: $25-35/ hour (W2; all-inclusive)

Summary: 

·       Load and maintain mainframe and distributed test 
environments  
·       Create and maintain testing schedules and issues logs 
·       Manage and execute the test. 
·       Resolve environmental and logistical testing issues. 
·       QA developers' JCL's and implementation packages 
·       Handle communications related to testing schedules and 
events. 

Knowledge and Experience Required: 

·       3-4 years experience years progressively responsible 
experience demonstrating: 
o       ISPF, 
o       COBOL, 
o       DB2 (including utilities), 
o       JCL, 
o       File-Aid, 
o       QMF, 
o       CICS, 
o       Abend-Aid
o       Job scheduling software (Control M if possible) 
o       MS Word, Access, Excel, 
o       Visio 
o       Change Control Software (Changeman and/or CCC Harvest 
preferred);  
o       (CLIST, automated testing tools -- a plus). 
o       Mainframe and distributed software testing 
o       Some COBOL development experience will be helpful (but this 
is not a software development position) 
o       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are 
essential.
