Oracle Database Developer opening

Work with team of Oracle application DBA's on the design, 
development and implementation of Oracle-based applications in a 
high growth division of this premier client. 

Experience required in the development of triggers, stored 
procedures, and shell scripts to support application development. 

This role works with project teams to size database efforts, 
determine the appropriate database access approach and user 
performance expectations. 

It requires the ability to gather database requirements, design, 
build, test & implement database functionality for different types 
of applications. 

Work with the application teams and data modelers to identify 
database modifications and/or objects that need to be created in 
development. 

Work with Release Management and QA to migrate the development work 
through all test and production environments. 

Strong interpersonal and analysis skills are essential for this 
position. 

Minimum 6 years as an Oracle application developer/DBA, working in 
the areas of database development, database interfaces, data 
analysis, data loads and database performance on a variety of 
corporate projects. 

Strong knowledge of Unix, Shell Scripting (KSH), Oracle and PL/SQL 
is required. 

Experience with ClearCase, ClearQuest, Autosys, SQL Navigator, 
Oracle Enterprise Manager, and DB2 is preferred.

Start Date: 6/19/06
Duration:6 months
