Marketing.
 
 
The Director of marketing will build and manage a highly-qualified
marketing team.  This position will be responsible for managing the
company's online strategic and tactical marketing efforts.  The ideal
candidate will be expected to draw upon experience and knowledge of
on-line marketing as well as solid understanding of branding,
positioning, marketing communications, ROI metrics, customer retention,
and data mining.  This role offers strong opportunities for professional
growth and advancement.
 
Responsibilities
*       Develop pricing strategies, balancing company objectives and
customer satisfaction. 
*       Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as
budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and
return on investment and profit-loss projections. 
*       Identify new member acquisition and retention programs. 
*       Develop and maintain relationships with online partners and
resources. 
*       Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of
marking staff and oversee their daily activities. 
*       Manage affiliate, reseller and search engine marketing programs
and campaigns. 
*       Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale
and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business
developments and monitoring market trends to drive the business.
 
Requirements
*       Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and
selling products and/or services.  
*       Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and
professional services.  Including customer needs assessments, meeting
quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

*       Ability to develop and  lead a team, promote high standards and
quickly establish teams focus in the face of competing priorities. 
*       Up-to-date knowledge of online marketing and direct response
strategies. 
*       Experience in negotiating strategic marketing partnerships and
media contracts. 
*       Track record with both analytics and creative skills, ideally in
industries of E-Commerce, Information Technology, or Internet. 
*       Proven strength at managing through ambiguity to actionable
recommendations and/or solutions 
*       Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
*       Capacity and desire to work in a fast paced environment. 
*        BA/BS degree, MBA preferred.
