Visual Basic / SQL Server developer (Contract Opportunity)

Chandler, AZ based business that develops a top sales automation system
for the homebuilder market is looking for a qualified individual to
join the growing team of developers.  The software is a web-enabled
application utilizing VB components.  

Responsibilities include: 

-  Working under the direction of a team leader.
-  Writing Visual Basic code with HTML interface and Visual Basic
components.
-  Writing and testing code based on written software specifications and
an aggressive product release schedule.
-  Utilizing software standards to assure the maintainability of the
application.
-  Administering changes to the SQL Server database where necessary. 
-  Working 25-40 hours per week on site, no exceptions.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

- 2+ yrs developing professional Visual Basic applications.
- 1+ yrs using SQL Server (experience with stored procedures and
triggers a plus).
- Html experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail oriented with solid analytical skills.
- Desire to work with a team of programmers.
- Must be able to follow and code to functional specifications.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience and availability, 1099misc.
