TSM Systems Administrators needed - 3 openings

JOB TITLE: TSM Systems Administrator (3 openings)
KEY SKILLS: Tivoli Storage Manager, TSM, UNIX, Windows, Linux Red 
Hat, AIX, Solaris

Location: Phoenix, AZ (I-10 & Hwy 60)
Rate: DOE
Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
Status: W2 or Inc ( (we require proof of Incorporation, Federal Tax 
ID and General Liability Insurance -- up to $1million)

Requirements:
·       2 years minimum of TSM Administration experience in UNIX 
Server environment 
·       4 years minimum system administration experience with Linux 
Red Hat, AIX, Solaris or Windows 2003 
·       Ability to analyze TSM and Server Operating Systems and tune 
for optimal performance and availability 
·       Ability to solve complex problems and work with vendors for 
needed assistance 
·       Experience with backups for SAN/NAS devices and LAN Free 
backups 
·       Experience supporting backups for large databases such as 
Oracle/DB2/Sql Server 
·       Experience with ACSLS and Gresham EDT Software 
·       Experience with managing Storage Tek tape libraries, LTO 
tape devices and media 
·       Scripting skills with Perl, Bash, KSH 
·       LAN/WAN TCP/IP network troubleshooting skills 
·       Good communications skills, ability to document procedures 
·       Ability to work successfully within a team 
·       Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and 
meet deadlines 
 
Responsibilities
·       Troubleshoot and resolve missed and failed TSM backups via 
reports and HD trouble tickets 
·       Resolve HD tickets - may include problematic restores, 
troubleshooting client and/or server software, engaging vendor for 
assistance, escalating to SNO or 
        distributed Storage or other groups for resolution as 
necessary 
·       Complete SSR's, may include installing client software, 
add/modify/remove clients to server backup schedules 
·       Monitor backup and proactive daily reports from TSM servers, 
take proactive action if necessary to avoid problems 
·       Assist Distributed Storage with D&R testing or hardware or 
software implementation efforts 
·       Create automation via scripting to increase productivity 
·       Update documentation 
·       Provide information or reports as necessary to application 
support teams, SNO management, auditors, etc. 
·       Assist with training and mentoring of other staff members  
·       Provide input to Distributed Storage (D&E) for needed 
infrastructure changes 
·       Provide On-Call support on a rotating basis with other team 
members  
        Attend meetings as necessary and be able to follow up on 
assigned tasks
