SALES REPRESENTATIVE
TUCSON-BASED SUPPLY CHAIN & TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS BUSINESS

LOCATION: Phoenix and/or Tucson. May work from home office.

DESCRIPTION: Company is expanding and we¹re looking for an accomplished
sales professional to work the full cycle sales process (cold calling to
close). Focus will be on transportation/logistics portion of the business
supply chain to small businesses and large corporations. Will be offering a
valuable, full cycle on-demand transportation management system (TMS)
solution to various industries requiring truck transportation services.
Cross-selling of truck transportation services will be involved. Candidate
is expected to manage sales process from cold calling - some referrals will
be supplied - setting up appointments, distributing collateral materials,
performing demonstrations, managing objections, and closing sales. After
sales service may be required on some accounts.

This product is going into limited release for the next 4 months, so focus
will be on local clients with a requirement to test and validate the product
and its supporting services. As most processes are evolving through this
initial period, the candidate will be expected to think out-of-the-box and
to work with other staff in meeting client needs. Ability to provide market
feedback is critical. As a new product offering, the candidate should
possess the ability to identify the early adopters and generate excitement
within this group.

REQUIREMENTS:

- have the ability to rapidly grow sales and build successful sales
processes
- self-manage the sales process, with diligent follow up
- participate with top management and internal staff in developing solutions
and deployment activities
- have knowledge of the transportation/logistics or the business supply
chain.
- have a professional demeanor and representation
- good computer user skills (internet, database applications, MS Office
products)
- able to travel locally (across southern AZ and occasionally beyond)
- competent to provide some basic user training support

COMPENSATION:

$2500 monthly base, $500 monthly expense allowance
Stock Option
20% commission on TMS solutions
TBD commission on a case-be-case basis on transportation services

OTHER: This position is the key role for the first four-months in market
testing and process refinement. Once this initial test period is completed,
additional sales staff will be recruited and the candidate will be
considered for management level status - this is not guaranteed and will
depend on performance.
