A Sample of the Positions that will be available:   

Solutions Developer/ETL Developer  

Responsibilities: 

* Work in concert with the Business requirement Analyst to identify and
validate data required from various source systems 

* Map the source data to the target data structures designed for the data
warehouse 

* Identify and implement any transformations or conversions required to
maximize consistency and usability of the data 

* Work in concert with the Meta Data Architect to ensure synchronization of
efforts related to meta data capture and creation 

* Identify and synchronize required data movement approach 

* Identify, define and establish technical environment requirements (e.g.
access to hardware, JCL requirements, file access approvals) 

* Develop data extractions 

* Test all data extractions 

* Develop data extraction processes 

* Test all data extract processes 

* Install and schedule production data extraction processes 

* Identify data quality issues to Data Warehouse Project Team 

* Define consistent business rules for specific data 

* Enhance data extraction processes as required 

Skills and Attributes: 

* Understanding of current extraction and transformation process 

* Use of 3GL programming languages (e.g. COBOL, C++) 

* Strong communication skills 

* Ability to assimilate information rapidly 

* Ability to work under time constraints 

* Capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business needs and
incorporate these needs into technical solutions 

* Strong problem solving skills 

* Must have at least 5+ years experience with relational databases (Oracle,
SQL Server, Teradata, etc.) including a strong understanding of database
design, SQL queries, PL/SQL and/or ETL tools such as Ascsential DataStage. 

* 2 or more years of Ascential required 

* Minimum 5+ years of strong SQL/database experience 

* Business intelligence experience (Ascential DataStage) 

* Data Warehouse knowledge (ETL, OLAP, Star Schema, Dimensional Modeling) 

 

Data Architect 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Data Architects lead and consult with all levels of the organization on the
design, development, and implementation of logical database structures and
classification schemes. They design and implement logical data models and
practices for data capture, data dictionary design and maintenance, and
maintain overall data integrity. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

* Responsibilities: Supervises all technical/architecture related work
activities during design. 

* Monitors quality levels. 

* Ensures resolution of issues and questions during construction and
testing. 

Required Skills: 

* Should have 2 or more years of Data Warehouse experience. 

* ETL experience with Informatica and A 

* Oracle technical knowledge (programming and architecture) 

* Data Modeling experience (Star Schema using ERwin) 

* General Architecture 

* Object oriented programming (JAVA, etc.) and POSIX (*nix) experience with
development. 

* DataStage experience 

 

Web & GUI developer;   must have 3 or more years of GUI development, LINUX,
JAVA, XML, C++ programming. Rapid prototyping experience is a must. 

* Experience with SOA architecture. 

* Experience with Open Source code and application development. 

* Experience with Web Portal Software development. 

* Must be able to balance and prioritize a high volume of work, meet
deadlines, and push back if necessary. 

* Experience with globalization and localization of user interfaces. 

* Experience with the healthcare industry preferred. 

  

Database Administrators use specific relational database management system
structure and technology to create and maintain physical databases. Database
Administrators implement procedures and practices regarding database design,
development, monitoring, access, and upkeep. 

Critical Skills: 

* Oracle Administration 

* SQL Coding and Query Tuning 

* Datawarehousing 

* Oracle Storage 

* Oracle Partitioning 

* Advanced Unix, SQL Database is a added plus
