Desktop Tech Support Specialist with Telecommunications Experience
Work location: Chandler, AZ
Duration: 6 months, contract to hire
Target pay: $15 to $18 per hour, could flex higher depending on skills
Weekly pay (direct deposit), medical benefit eligibility after 90 days

CompuForce is a leading provider of IT consultant staffing.  We are 
currently recruiting a Desktop/Telecomm Specialist for a premier 
client in the Chandler area.  This is a great team, and a fun, high-
energy work environment.

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide end-user technical support for all personal computer 
workstations, peripherals and telephone equipment.

Required Skills:
§       MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in resolving telecommunication problems 
reported and work with service providers as needed for problem 
resolution.
§       MUST HAVE EXPERINECE in performing adds, moves and changes 
within the PBX and voicemail system as necessary.·
§       Build, install, troubleshoot, repair and support 
microcomputers and peripheral hardware including printers, monitors, 
mice, modems, keyboards, etc.
§       Work with other network staff and management to ensure that 
all assigned work is completed in a timely manner.
§       Maintain file systems, user accounts, system security and 
backups on designated systems as instructed by AVP of Infrastructure.
§       Implement designated projects as assigned by senior 
management.
§       Maintain accurate and up-to-date hardware inventory.
§       Assist in department training when requested.   
§       Establish and maintain a sound working relationship with all 
users of Information Technology services
§       Keep management fully informed of all significant matters and 
problems through timely updates and regular status reports.
§       Assist in resolving inquiries from other departments.
§       Perform other related duties as assigned.       

Qualifications:
§       Experience performing adds, moves and changes to a corporate 
telephone system.
§       Excellent problem-solving skills.
§       Technically proficient in PC hardware and operating systems.
§       Excellent written and oral communication skills.
§       Experience performing wiring cross-connects.
