Job Description:

Field Applications Engineer (FAE).  Position requires a strong
understanding of Microsoft Windows™ based computers and 6VDC to 80VDC
vehicle electrical systems.  Position requires a good understanding of
electrical characteristics, electrical interference, ESD and other DC
voltage issues in a mobile environment.  Requires ability to learn and
perform system level and board level diagnostics.  Applicant will be
required to troubleshoot/test, reload and repair mobile computer
terminals in the field.  Strong verbal and written communication skills
required.  A degree and/or strong work history in field systems
applications, computer repair and troubleshooting.  A strong
understanding of Ethernet networks including wireless networking and
protocols a plus.  Attention to detail and ability to document finding
a must.  Travel required.
