Job Description:


Candidate will be a Smallworld Developer and will be on a project to
automate 
distribution design functionality within a distribution GIS using
Smallworld's 
Design Layout Tools (DLT). The following are areas of distribution design
that 
will be automed: Overhead; Underground; Single Phase; Three phase;
Residential; 
Commercial; Municipal; System Improvements. Candidate will be responsible
for 
designing and developing components of a Distribution Design Tool in
Smallworld.

Required Skills:
Expert Magik developer 
Experience designing large applications
Experience with power distribution applications
Knowledge of distribution design practices
Experience with automated design tools
Experience developing design templates
Experience implementing profiles and cross-sections in Smallworld
Experience with Design Layout Tools (DLT)
Experience with Spatial Object Managers (SOM's)
Experience with Power Technologies, Inc. (PTI) application PSS/U - Power
System 
Simulator for Utilization Level Circuits
Electrical Engineering background preferred
