CDI is currently seeking 2 Systems Analysts that are looking for a
great year long contract, paying 45/hr, located in North Scottsdale
in the Airpark!

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; Well rounded individual
with a minimum of 5 years of experience in all facets of systems
analysis and software requirements definition.



Essential Functions:
The essential responsibility of the System Analyst is to be the
primary systems requirements specified. Under limited direction,
work closely with various domain subject matter experts (SME), end
users and software development team members to review business
requirements and jointly define system requirements. The System
Analyst is the primary author of the functional specifications
(Software Requirements Specification). The System Analyst must be
able to research, analyze and articulate business rules, business
and system use cases, and business object and logical data models.
The System Analyst is an experienced, highly self-motivated, quick
and creative thinker who excels at gathering and honing customer
product requirements.



Mandatory skills include:
Actively solicit, analyze and capture functional and system
requirements and constraints.
Demonstrable ability to ensure alignment of system requirements with
actual business processes to ensure user satisfaction and software
product success
Demonstrated ability to define requirement sets that are traceable,
measurable, and testable
Ability to produce functional specifications (Software Requirements
Specification) utilizing use case methodology including the ability
to develop use cases and succinct, analytical diagrams of complex
systems using UML to illustrate required software behavior
Ability to capture business object models, data models and identify
metadata using data analysis concepts, techniques, and standards
Demonstrable experience in conducting requirements workshops using
formal and informal methodologies
Demonstrable OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) skills
Address issues in an effective and timely manner
Strong communication, and interpersonal abilities
Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
Analyze project business rules and data dictionaries


Desirable skills include:
Work experience with the Rational Unified Process
User Interface development and human factors skills
Student Information Systems knowledge and/or knowledge of K-12
educational processes
