=== Linux/Solaris Systems Administrator ===

Jobs and Responsibilities
– Build, maintain, and enhance Linux and Solaris web, database, and 
intranet servers
– Monitor and tune server performance
– Work with a strong team of web developers to maintain and enhance 
hundreds of active web sites

Required Skills
– 2+ years Linux System Administration
– 1+ years Solaris System Administration
– 2+ years experience administering a high-availability 
Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP environment
– Experience implementing redundant multi-tiered systems
– Experience in relational database design and optimization in MySQL 
and/or PostgreSQL
– Conversant in HTML and PHP
– Experience with electronic mail delivery software (i.e. Sendmail, Postfix)
– DNS (BIND) administration experience
– Shell and/or Perl scripting
– Cisco router administration
– Ability to work in a team environment
– Must meet deadlines and be able to work on several projects simultaneously
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Desired Skills
– Familiarity with version control systems (i.e. CVS)
– Experience administering Samba-served Windows XP desktops
– Experience administering a large (200,000+ member) mailing list with 
Mailman

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate prior projects 
utilizing the required skills listed above and must be able to 'hit the 
ground running' with minimal training time.
