Re: PKIX draft for Non-Repudiation certificates

After reading my own mail concerning the PKIX draft on non-repudiation
certificates I realize that I wasn't very clear on the fact that this is
NOT yet an adopted work item for PKIX.

At this moment this work is only a candidate work item that stand a
reasonably good chance of getting adopted before the end of this year.

The acceptance of this wok item is dependent on the response and progress
on the list. It is also dependent on how pkix manages to get some of its
current drafts into RFC:s. (especially part 1)

The subject is though allowed to be discussed on the list since it is
consistent with the PKIX charter.

So I hope that you who want to see this as a PKIX work item show your
interest by being active in the process.

The decision in the end is up to our work group chairs (Steve and Warwick)
and the Security area directors.
