Question about WebCAP: msg#00185ietf.x509
Hi, I have a question about WebCAP(draft-ietf-pkix-webcap-00.txt). In the WebCAP draft, |4.3. GETCERT | The GETCERT method retrieves certificate(s) from the CA repository | specified by the Request-URI. All CAP compliant resources MUST sup- | port the GETCERT method and the getcert XML element along with all | XML elements defined for use with that element. | | A client SHOULD submit a getcert XML element in the body of the | request method describing what information is being requested. | | All servers MUST support returning a response of content type | text/xml that contains a multi-status XML element that describes the | results of the attempts to retrieve the various certificates. ... When retrieving multiple certificates, is it assumed to send a GETCERT request even if the certificates are issued by different CAs? If it is assumed, which kind of multi-status response is returned when the CAP server can't get all the certificates? regards, =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Mine Sakurai E-mail: m-sakura@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Platform Technology Laboratory, Internet Technology Laboratories, NEC Corp., Tokyo, JAPAN |
