Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

I dont think involving NAS in home link renumbering is the right
thing. renumbering is not done abruptly. there is a period in
which both prefixes (the old and the new) are valid.

NAS is not involved in renumbering....

Storing the FQDN of an HA instead of its IPv6 address in a DHCP server
provides immunization to changes in the IP address of the HA (for any
reason).

we have mechanisms to convey changes in the prefix information on
the home link.

DNS can give you different IP address depending on where the request is
coming from (for localization, etc).

are you sure? I thought you always get back all A records. not
region specific A records. correct me if I am wrong.

I would prefer the AAAH (or an entity in the home network) making
the decision to assign a local HA based on where the MN is. not
the DNS.

So, by advertising the FQDN of a HA
(rather than the fixed IP address) a deployment can take advantage of
this DNS feature.

These are potential reasons for delivering FQDN rather than IPv6 address
of an HA to the MN.

I thought your initial question was about sending FQDN in addition
to the IPv6 address of the HA.

During a private discussion Pascal suggested adding the home agent FQDN
to possible types of information deliverable to MNs via
draft-jang-dhc-haopt-00.txt (in addition to HA IPv6 address and home
subnet prefix). This would be useful in the presence of IP address
renumbering or with DNS-based discovery schemes.
