Hi Curt - thanks for the response. I didn't use Instant Rails because I
already had MySQL loaded up with my schema and tons of data. I read
somewhere to uninstall MySQL before installing InstantRails because it
comes bundled w/ the install. I didn't want to rebuild.

Problem setting ruby interpreter

Hello, I am new to RadRails, just starting with it. I have installed it sucessfully in a Ubuntu 6.06.1 but when I try to set a ruby interpreter it never toggles On the Ok button: I go to Window / Ruby / Installed interpreter and click on the Add button. I type Ruby for the name field, and /usr/bin/ruby for the location field. The message 'please select a ruby interpreter' never dissapears. Out of RadRails ruby works fine. Operating System: Ubuntu 6.06.1 Kernel: #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Sep 16 02:13:27 UTC 2006 Java: java version "1.5.0_09" Ruby: ruby 1.8.5 (2006-08-25) [i686-linux] Thanks in advance, -- Aníbal http://www.rubycorner.com http://www.lacaraoscura.com http://www.vp.com.ve --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RadRails" group. Re: Problem setting ruby interpreter

Hi - this sounds similar to the <a href="http://groups.google.com/group/radrails/browse_thread/thread/189a2b3e3576ae1b/5723aa3c1d125582#5723aa3c1d125582">problem I had</a> with not being able to start Webrick from RadRails. Try putting in the full path to each command? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RadRails" group.
