Hi Curt - thanks for the response. I didn't use Instant Rails because I
already had MySQL loaded up with my schema and tons of data. I read
somewhere to uninstall MySQL before installing InstantRails because it
comes bundled w/ the install. I didn't want to rebuild.

Problem setting ruby interpreter
Hello,
I am new to RadRails, just starting with it. I have installed it
sucessfully in a Ubuntu 6.06.1 but when I try to set a ruby interpreter
it never toggles On the Ok button:
I go to Window / Ruby / Installed interpreter and click on the Add
button. I type Ruby for the name field, and /usr/bin/ruby for the
location field. The message 'please select a ruby interpreter' never
dissapears.
Out of RadRails ruby works fine.
Operating System: Ubuntu 6.06.1
Kernel: #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Sep 16 02:13:27 UTC 2006
Java: java version "1.5.0_09"
Ruby: ruby 1.8.5 (2006-08-25) [i686-linux]
Thanks in advance,

Hi - this sounds similar to the <a

putting in the full path to each command?

Figured it out - the problem was that the install didn't set up anyof the RadRails environment variables properly. Here is what I did tofix it:[snip]This might be coming to you a little late, but if you download and use the just released Instant Rails
1.4, it will automatically set the RadRails paths when you choose "...\InstantRails\rails_apps" as you workspace directory.Curt
