How should an IDE like PHPeclipse best support this frameworks?

For first steps one could for example:
* based on an existing Eclipse SQL plugin create scaffolding wizards
for these frameworks.
* create wizards which generate the general project structures layout
* fast switch between a "controller" file and a corresponding view file
* add templates suitable for this frameworks.

I'd add the ability to define a 'quick open' group of files.

Problem:
Specific areas of a site generally require a group of files, often in different folders/locations.

Being able to open, say, 5 files with one click would be great, esp in maintenance of a site.

Proposed:
Store the relationships between files. Allow the user to define a group of files together with a keyword/name. For example, my user registration may have many files, controller, view, other class modules, etc. Opening 'user reg' opens all the files associated with user reg.

I think that having framework support in an IDE is where the real power of both the language/platform and the IDE lie. The problem is that it becomes VERY framework specific.

That is why it would have to be template driven so that you could plugin your framework. Right now I resort to a shell script outside the IDE to generate my set of files.

I remember that the first version of PHPEclipse I tried came with a Xaraya module that I never used. Does anyone know what that was supposed to do?
