As the interest in the equinox provisioning work is growing, we thought it would be interesting to hold a weekly development conference call.
The call will be a place to discuss design and implementation issues as well as directions of the ongoing work. The discussion topic will be posted in advance on

What errors if any do you see? Is it a ClassCastException? We are
currently investigating a webstart issue on 3.3 see
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=198462. This bug may be
causing you trouble.

[equinox-dev] Starting Eclipse platform with java webstart
Hi,
Sorry for the mass mail, but i was trying to start the platform from a
java webstart. And I still didn?t manage it to work!
Could Eclipse 3.3 be started from a java webstart? (it is not the simple
case of a simple RCP, but the whole platform)
Has it been done before?
In the jnlp example file provided in the help I have to specify an
eclipse.product property value to run. I?ve tried unsuccessfully the
different ones found in the osgi bundle. What did I miss?
Should I create a new separate product project in eclipse and make it
call
the main class in osgi plugin to start it?
Thanks a lot,
Zahi

Thanks a lot,
Zahi
