HP 3000 Systems Administrator:


This position will administer all aspects of HP 3000 mini computers
including the hardware and operating system. Applications include:
ARGI subscription fulfillment, Maestro, 3000 Security, and Omnidex.
Must be experienced in COBOL programming. Additional skills in
Microsoft server, IIS and PC setup / support. Duties include
developing and maintaining COBOL programs, develop and maintain visual
basic programs, installing software patches & upgrades, maintaining
nightly backups, and supporting PCs.

After hours support for the HP 3000 will be required every 3rd week /
weekend.

Minimum Qualifications: AS in Computer Science or a related degree.
Must be very familiar with HP 3000 system administration, with
excellent COBOL programming skills and above average visual basic
programming skills. In addition, must have excellent documentation,
verbal and written skills along with strong analytical and
troubleshooting skills.

Professional work as a team player
MPE/IX (HP3000 operating system)
ARGI
Cobol
Maestro
Omnidex
Visual Basic
