Subject: More AT-on-wireless network questions

I have my AT wired to a DLINK wirelessG access point as well and am having
the worst time keeping the AT stable. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Some background:

I live in a standalone house with no 2.4GHz devices.
The network ran great for about a month with 2 wired and 1 wireless (PCI
card) clients into a DLINK wirelessG router.
There are no class-b devices on my network, and the router is set to "g
only".

I bought a DLINK access point (DWL-2000AP) which runs one of 4 modes,
Access Point, Client, Bridge or Multi-Bridge. Per DLINK, I set it up in
wireless client mode (also g-only). I wasn't too sure about the AT's setup
in this environment so I tried dynamic but it would not get on the network.
I set it to static and upon hard boot the AT almost always finds the 2 wired
hosts and loads a TOC file from each. Most times it will let me select "All
Files" but refuses to play any, cycling though all file names saying
"Opening" and finally quitting saying "Hosts Down". It will sometimes play
songs successfully (once for a whole day) but ultimately falls off the
network and returns to the "Opening/Host Down" cycle. Power cycling the
access point before the Hosts Down error sometimes resumes playback,
sometimes not. Sometimes the AT needs to be hardbooted as well.
The AT's webserver was always inaccessable until I added it's MAC
address
to the static table on the router. Now the .104 IP loads the AT's webserver
50% of the time. It doesn't matter whether I try it from wired or wireless
clients, it loads half the time. Soooo, with my limited knowledge of
bridges/access points/etc., I don't know if I'm even setting the network
devices up correctly to support the AT. I just know that the AT is painful
to use. Any help on or off list would be greatly appreciated.
