mp3gain question: msg#00099hardware.voyetra.audiotron
MP3s made from vinyl record, all show around 88-90 dB volume and are way too quiet on the AT compared to burned CDs which come in at 92-98 dB. But even if I set the "Target Normal Volume" to 90 rather than the 89 default, it shows tracks will be clipped. If I set it to the mid-nineties in order to be similar to the CD volumes, all tracks will be clipped. Why? Is there no way to get vinyl MP3s to the same volume as CDs without clipping?
