Re: AT100 Web server problems: msg#00093hardware.voyetra.audiotron
Multiple reply! ------------------- Kenny Unfortunately it made no difference - worth a try tho'. JohnB ------------------------ Konrad I have tried what I think you meant and both other computers are now registered as hosts with the AT100. I run Setup from each of the other computers and forced a local search. The XP computer now works correctly (not sure if that was the cure or I did something else without realising it). Unfortunately the remaining 98SE still does not work correctly and still insists I dial up the internet first. Curiously I have a Boot Magic double boot system on the XP computer with yet another 98SE as the alternative system. I tried that today and that insists on dialling as well!! Don't you love computers! Maybe I did not unbderstand fully what you meant. What is the hosts file (name and location)? I took delivery of my AT100 yesterday and after the odd hic-cup it is working fine. I am having problems using the AudioTron Web Server on my 10/100 ethernet. I have 3 PCs, 2 running Win98SE and one XP Pro on my ethernet. I access the internet by dialup, each PC having its own modem. One 98SE (call it A) runs the WebServer to configure the AT100 without a problem but with the other two systems, when I try to run the Web Server, the internet dialup box pops up and insists that I dial up the internet before it will run the Web Server. I cannot see any difference between the settings on the two 98SEs never mind between 98SE (A) and the XP system. Any suggestions where to look? I may have overlooked something very obvious!
