The sector size of the SST flash is different from the AMD flash we use. You might have to load your own flash memory programming routine(s) into RAM and execute from there. Could you manually execute "Z40" and then "B40" and then "C" and then "F0", "C", "FFF", "C"? If the firmware loads into RAM, then you might have the CE's swapped.
