Well I like the idea of VHDL, especially the simulation and benchmark
facilities which are really powerful when used properly. The holy grail
though of synthesizing behavioural VHDL hasn't really yet come of age, so
you're still forced to write RTL stuff. The concept I think is good, but
like many things the implentation leaves a lot to be desired (like Visual
Basic!!)
