Hi-

I am new to TINI and embedded systems in general. Is it possible to have
an RF network interface for TINI. I also want the embedded system to be
powered by battery as i want to measure the power usage(working on some
power aware protocols).

Any help in this regard is well appreiciated.

We are working on this, with RF Modems supporting the JXTA protocols. Look for products in August. Our boards will have a JSimm interface and will also be adaptable to an RS232 serial port interface for connection to PCs, etc, any system with JVM and javaxcomm serial support.

The new TILT400 board has a JSimm socket so these RF modems will pop into that and work with TStik.

Here's the modem info page:

Of course you can buy RF modems and do your own thing with them too.

Thanks in Advance.

Sincerely
Suresh
