RE: Hardware problems with DS80C400: msg#00621hardware.microcontrollers.tini
Anders, I didn't encounter this problem when I brought up my custom board but I did run into a problem where I was using an older version of JavaKit. It didn't complain about the -400 or -flash 40 parameters but it wouldn't program the flash correctly. I ran into a similar problem on my parallel expansion because I connected a device to the data bus that pulled the lines high. The C400 and C390 are very sensitive to bus loading so you might verify that you haven't exceeded the drive capability of the CE lines or have something pulling them up or down. Just some thoughts and good luck! We have established communication with the board and have the received greetings from the autoloader 1.0.1. However we are having problems with downloading the firmware. We have narrowed the problem down to inactive CE pins. When trying a command like F 00 or D 0 100 there is no activity on the CE0 pin. There are however activity on the WR, address and data pins as expected. Have anybody experienced similar problems? We would prefer not to change the MCU if possible.... The MUX pin is hardwired to VCC.. Any comment would be appreciated Anders Nielsen _______________________________________________ TINI mailing list TINI-6tN4nzCoH/hBDgjK7y7TUQ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To UNSUBSCRIBE, edit your profile, or see list archives: http://lists.dalsemi.com/mailman/listinfo/tini _______________________________________________ TINI mailing list TINI-6tN4nzCoH/hBDgjK7y7TUQ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To UNSUBSCRIBE, edit your profile, or see list archives: http://lists.dalsemi.com/mailman/listinfo/tini |
