Re: Microsoft Remote Keyboard Attempts: msg#00102hardware.lirc
I have had no problems with the MCE remote that uses the same USB receiver as the keyboard with LIRC. It uses the mceusb2 module. I was thinking that maybe part of the problem is that the keyboard might be sending 2 signals, one for KeyDown and one for KeyUp. Maybe that is why irrecord is getting confused? -Paul On Tuesday 28 February 2006 5:52 am, Warren Wilder wrote: > For your sake, I hope this is old news and therefore no longer true, but I > read this on the Supported Hardware page: > > Please note that for technical reasons it's not possible to use USB IrDA > dongles with LIRC. > > Warren ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
