Hauppage 150 mce and the ir blaster that ships with it

Hi Guys

After weeks of going threw documentation emails and what not... I can
officially say im stumped. Has anybody gotten the ir-blaster that ships with
the PVR-150 MCE edition working with LIRC and if so anybody willing to give
me a link with the step by step information. I have gotten to the point of
controlling the menu and so on but I cannot change channels on the set top
box. 

I have previously got the Hauppage PVR-150 and its remote working
flawlessly. After some reading I was pretty sure the new remote would work
and purchased the new card and remote.

PS: I thank you all in advance for any answers to this question as im sure
it has been asked 100+ times.
