Well... first of all, thx every1 for the help on the pneumatics... :)
about the R2D2, i must say i'm not quite a fan of star wars... never paid much 
attention to it... but i did some "homework" and listened to some of R2D2's 
sounds... and between the scratches and the whistles (which i think are 
impossible to imitate on the RCX), there's a beep melody... i've been playing 
the piano for 8 years, and i'm almost sure that you can find the notes not on a 
diatonic scale (and even less on a pentatonic scale...), but you'll surely find 
them on the chromatic scale... and if the frequencies are slightly different 
from the standard note frequencies, i guess u can change it... i don't 
understand very much of lego RIS, so i can't give you a GREAT help... but hey!, 
i can tell you that it's possible to turn R2D2 "voice" into a beep sequence... 
i'm kinda busy with some piano exams right now, but as soon as i get rid of the 
exams and start getting into the thing, i'll try to recreate R2D2 voice in the 
RCX...
