BrickFest DC 2005 Technic/Mindstorms events: msg#00024hardware.lego.robotics
BrickFest is coming and the robots are getting restless! Competition robots that is. Yes, BrickFest is just two months away and its time to start tuning up your competition robots. There are four competitions this year, look at http://www.brickfest.com/contests.php#mind for more info. Follow the Rules and info links to get to the rules for each competition. Friday afternoon - Mine Rescue http://www.brickfest.com/dc04pdf/MineRescue_Final.pdf Saturday morning - Tag Team Sumo http://www.brickfest.com/dc04pdf/TagTeamSumoRules_Final.pdf Saturday afternoon - First Lego League 2004 event Sunday morning - Super-Mega Sumo http://www.brickfest.com/dc04pdf/MegaSumoRules_final.pdf As usual, prizes are up for grabs. Each first place robot will win its organic servant a selection of HiTechnic sensors. Since the Tag Team Sumo allows two robots to be entered, there will be two first place prizes available, so enter two robots and double your winnings. So if you are an RCX, Spybot or even a Cybermaster, prod your organic into action and get yourself built into a winning robot. JB |
