See 'Improvements' at http://www.gpsbabel.org/news/20070225.html If you want smart icons, you now have to turn them on with the -Si option. Smart names can tbe turned on with -Sn. You're free to argue that this isn't an improvement. Now that the majority of GPSes that geocachers care about support geocaching mode that was hosed by our "let's cleverly rename the icons by default" mode it really was time to revisit that.
