hh40 kernel doesn't like the extra 16MB

Hello,

After flashing hh40 to my h5550 I can't mount the second bank of flash
anymore and after reading through bugzilla I suspect the mtd code update
 is to blame. Can anyone suggest a method to verify and/or debug this?
