I tested that event, inserted into std.ics, synced, modified on device, synced 
and can't see any problem.
There have been problems in the past like yours, but they should be all fixed.
Are you sure, you have the latest rra? (sorry for asking)
Maybe there is an old lib lying around somewhere.
