Re: contact and events sync.: msg#00035handhelds.ipaq.synce.devel
Hi Nabil, I hope the following data will help... Thanks very much for your interest in solving these problems. Regards, Marc 1) Entering an event on the PDA, called "Today 16-18", at 16-18, and then using the command-line utilities from rra/src, I get the two files attached event.rra from "./rra-get-data" and event.vef from "./rra-appointment-to-vevent" applied to that event. As you can see, the vevent begins at 20060423T140000Z, and Korganiser recognises this as 14-16. Using Raki, a new event is placed in Korganiser at 14-16, and the time of the PDA event is uptaded to 14-16 too. 2) Adding a recurrent event "recurrent, sunday, 8-10" in Korganiser that goes from today till 30/04/2006 (cf below the copy from std.ics), and using raki I get the same event on the PDA, but at 10-12. 3) Adding a recurrent event on the PDA "recurrent pda, monday 12-13" from tomorrow to "1/05/2006" and sync under raki leads to the correct event in korganiser, but again placed at 10-11. In that case, the PDA event is not modified back. ____________________________________________________________ BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTAMP:20060423T132933Z ORGANIZER;CN=Marc:MAILTO:bonaventur@xxxxxxxxxxx CREATED:20060423T132906Z UID:libkcal-1472579685.961 SEQUENCE:1 LAST-MODIFIED:20060423T132933Z SUMMARY:Recurrent\, sunday\, 8-10 CLASS:PUBLIC PRIORITY:5 RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=20060625T080000Z;BYDAY=SU DTSTART:20060423T080000Z DTEND:20060423T100000Z TRANSP:OPAQUE END:VEVENT Le Samedi 22 Avril 2006 17:54, Nabil Sayegh a écrit : > Marc schrieb: > > Hi, > > > > > > I've been experimenting a bit further the agenda synchronisation, and I > > noted the following... when I modify an event on the pda, and then > > synchronise, the function "rra_appointment_to_vevent" is called but gives > > a wrong time for the event start (two hours less in my case).
