Re: How does Suspend/Turn Off function work in Ramdisk Rescue with Haret?

I figured it out and I got the Bootloader 1.2.4 installed and Familiar V.0.8.4 GPE edition installed to ROM. (I was half asleep during the initial installation and misread some crucial instructions. Also, no one mentions that the Bootloader ROM needs to be extracted to the SD card.) I think the instructions need to be a little clearer for novices and beginners so we don’t need to ask useless questions. The only problem I am experiencing now is that I cannot activate the WIFI. I downloaded the required files by SDG: WLANGEN.BIN, RADIO0d.BIN & RADIO11.BIN and installed it into the /lib/firmware/ directory. (And yes, all the file names are in capitals). The WIFI logo pops up on the bottom of Familiar’s task bar, but it does not have any activity. I cannot get it to hook up to anything or even just Start-Up. (My router is on DHCP and no WEP or WPA.)

 

If someone has the same setup and have been able to get WIFI working, please let me know.
