Thank you very much for your offer. When I wrote the first mail in
reply to Jeff's enquiry, I hadn't had much of a chance to look around.
I since discovered that English documentation is available at:

.. no, hang on, it's gone - I couldn't access it due to permissions
errors on the website. Looks like the HARDWARE_PDA link is all there is
right now.
I'll be trying this later - I've just got to sort my neighbour's
Internet connection out, and get some shopping for later (I'm wandering
off-topic a bit here).
