Subject: hx4700 fb mode 640x480 - msg#00007
List: handhelds.ipaq.hx4700.linux
Hi, it is fix for fb 640x480 mode, it allow to use Ximageon with screen
rotation on hx4700 (needed some changes in Ximageon for screen
and touchscreen coordination). There are some trouble with screen
corruption while suspend/resume with screen orientation 90 or 270.

Touchscreen: wrong response
Good daytime.
I have bought 4700 and flashed Linux in it. In Opie I couldn't pass
calibration test because when it complete it starts again. In GPE test
passes, but records wrong results. So, for example, I can't press button
on screen because device do not respond correctly on touchscreen events.
In our (Russian) forum I knew that it appears not on all 4700 devices
(some units work properly).
So, I have some questions:
1) Does somebody met this problem and how it was solved (if was)?
2) If not, how I can check these "buggy" units in future?
Huge thanks and excuse me about my English :(

best regards, Anzo

Reflash my hx4700
Hi all,
I have been playing with Familiar on my hx4700 for many years now and
would like to change it back to Win CE.
Of course, I have no idea what happened to my CE image. lost somewhere.
How could I reload it?
Regards, S.

What's background of this specific patch? What exactly "some
trouble" means? What issues this patch itself will bring? What about
320x240 mode?
I suggest opening a bug in bugtracker with detailed description of
the issue and why it is fixed this way, so possible future regressions
can be tracked properly.
