RE: boot fail

I think your download is a bit old. You should have use
bootldr-pxa-2.21.12.bin.

If you can update your bootldr, (I am not sure how). Probably use
Hyperterminal or Minicom to see what is going on.

Use this instruction from here below, this is the most recent, I just
have a peek on the tar/zip and the bootldr is 2.21.12.bin on these
downloads for 5400 series.

Hi!

I have an iPaq h5450 and tried to install Linux on it.
I have successfully installed BootBlaster3900-2.6 and I have
programmed the boot partition with bootldr-pxa-2.20.4.bin
(not the gzipped one). The verify option told that the boot
image seems to be OK. I saved the wince image to my PC
and tried to move on to the serial install. But the iPaq doesn't
boot anymore. If I hold down the joypad and reset it vibrates
once and stays black. Without the joypad I get the HP init
screen and freeze.

Is there any hope to get it to work again?
