Hi..
I need some assistance with the IPAQ 5450…. After
performing all of the installation steps as indicated with no problems… I
got to the stage of pushing the joypad in and after removing the ipaq from the crade,
pushing the reset switch with the stylus. I was expecting it to reboot and come
up with the familiar bootloader but it just vibrates and then hangs the ipaq.
Everytime I try and reset, holding the joypad in, it
vibrates and hangs. Performing a normal reset without the joypad pushed in
works fine and allows me to get back to the windows desktop.
It is a clean ipaq with no apps and I have updated it to
the latest rom available from Compaq.
I have tried every combination of joypad / reset switch /
power / no power / etc etc and no luck
I would DEARLY love to turf Windows CE and get the best OS
running on this but I need some assistance.
