Re: Stuck at Calender button during install: msg#00024handhelds.ipaq.boot-loader
Hi, first of all, you will need a serial cable, the cradle won't work, because you will need to reset *AND* be connected at the same time... Then, depending on whether you are using GNU/Linux, 'terminal' or 'serial console' refers to minicom, you will need to install it first on your workstation (along with rzsz) and configure it properly. Hint: Quite exhaustive doc can be found at http://www.handhelds.org/ handhelds-faq/getting-started.html#USING-XYZMODEM Once you reset, hit the calendar button on the bootloader screen, then launch minicom, it should give you the boot> prompt. TM IPaq 3970 / Bootloader Rev 2.21.12 / GPE 2 P.S.: according to msgs earlier today on this list, it should be possible to avoid minicom entirely.
