Hey guys,
I just thought I would give Familiar a shot on my
3600.
I was installing via CF card, and getting ready to go. I
have just backed up my PPC 2002 bootldr and Wince, and proceeded to the flash
step.
I selected the bootldr-sa-2.20.4.bin.gz file from the
bootblaster interface, and went forward.
The device locked up in bootblaster at a little over half of
the bar, stating 'protecting wince partitions...'
15 minutes later, it is still locked up, and I am looking for
help! I just inherited this system and god knows I don't want to have to
announce that I bricked it within 2 days!
I am NOT going to power off, and eagerly await any help you
guys have to give.
I will be up till 2300 Pacific / West coast US / gmt + 8, and
then again from 0600. I am relatively calm, but VERY bummed
out.
I was loading with bootblaster_1.19.exe, which I pulled from
the bootgpe2-v0.7.1-h3600 tar gzip file. I will be loading the rest
of the stuff using the install from cf instructions, from a sleeve with a 128 mb
cf card.
