Taking a Symbol PPT2800 from Linux to Pocket PC

Hi,

I have several linux based Symbol PPT 2846 (a 2800 with a CDPD modem).

Two of the devices are using redboot and One still had Symbols' IPL 
program on it. Installing Pocket PC in the one with IPL was simple
BUT I was wonder how to do the same on the ones with redboot.

I have saved the boot record of Pocet PC handheld using bootblast was 
wondering if by booting into redboot and then just using ymodem in 
hyperterminal if I could write saved_bootldr.bin to 0X000000 and
get back to Symbols' IPL program.
