My iPAQ 3130 have the " Parrot mode "
only;during an upgrade process the USB connection failed,and so on my ipaq there
is , ,j think, a corrupted OS file in the ROM and bootloader ( Parrot )
only.
J' m successful to having a working 3130 from a
friend,with expansion pack and 32 MB CF. I have executed a backup on CF of the
rom of the working ipaq, using Hyperterminal and the command "r2c";then
transferred the CF on endured working mine and j automatically obtain approac"
douwnload from CF "in which I have the 2 options: "press action to flash" or
"press record to program". I was convinced that executing the function of
"flash" I would be successful to bring back mine while still alive ipaq......
but hasn't been therefore!! Also after this operation the ipaq it remains "died"
and with the access to the Parrot modality only!
My question is:ther ' is a way to execute
bootblaster on an ipaq like mine?( that one wich have " Parrot mode "
only)
There is a way to restore wince ?? J have the "
wince_image.gz " and the " saved_bootldr.bin " made with an other "running" 3130
on my pc.
An other strange problem is that on
the other " working " 3130 , j don't know way , by pressing
action button and then soft reset,on this ipaq 3130 the Parrot mode ( or
Parrot bootloader ), doesn't start.....??
By using this procedure (action button + soft
reset ) starts the wince only,and so j can't obtain a valid ROM image from this
working ipaq , and j can't to use this image with a CF card to re-flash my
3130.
I ask: my situation is critical,
complicated or deprived of hope?
I have confidence, I want to experiment and...j
hope!...... There must be one way x to usccire from this small
disaster?!
