ipaq rom upgrade error 113

To whom may be of help,
My ipaq 3600 stopped booting after i tried to upgrade the rom. error
113 splashed on my screen and now my ipaq doesnt boot. I have hit the
reset button several times and have left it plugged in. Can i
communicate with this ipaq and load a boatloader in this dead state? If
so , I am trying to locate a serial cord to give it a try and use an
xmodem program to load boatloader 2.18. If there are any people out
there that can be recommended at reasonable cost that may be the best
option...
